Competition At-A-Glance

  • The Concept: A unique competition series filmed for the Cybersecurity Explored  YouTube channel ahead of .conf 2026.
  • The Shoot: Filming takes place in New York City from July 19-21, 2026 (travel and accommodations covered).
  • The Prize: Collaborate with the legendary Splunk T-Shirt Committee to design a limited-edition shirt for the official web store.
  • Application Deadline: June 30, 2026.

Competition Overview: The Challenge & High Stakes

The Challenge

Filmed for the Cybersecurity Explored YouTube channel ahead of Splunk's .conf 2026, Cyber Games is a one-of-a-kind competition series. Think of it as Survivor meets Taskmaster, but designed specifically for the security operations center. We're looking for practitioners who are quick on their feet, comfortable on camera, and ready to tackle unusual challenges in the name of security.

The Stakes

The winner won't just earn bragging rights; they'll get to collaborate with the legendary Splunk T-Shirt Committee to curate a special limited-edition shirt for the Splunk web store. More prizes to be announced in the next few days!

Eligibility: Who Should Apply?

We're looking for Cisco/Splunk customers, Cisco Champions, and practitioners in roles like:

  • Security Operations & Incident Response
  • Threat Hunting
  • Security Architecture

Logistics and Roadmap: Key Details & Deadlines

  • Filming Location: New York City (July 19-21, 2026)
  • Travel: Cisco/Splunk can cover reasonable travel and accommodation expenses.
  • Application Deadline: June 30, 2026
