App Server Agent not showing any status yet it is installed

Hi ,

i am facing a problem, i configured the App agent normally but in my controller dashboard the health of the node is showing

greeen and also the machine agent is reporting but the status of app server agent is showing "not installed".

my application is on one server and controller is on another server.

Please help ASAP,

Hi Tushar,

To troubleshoot the problem can you please let us know the below details.

1) What type of the application you are instrumenting? Is that Asp.Net/MVC 2/3/4 with Razor or Asp.net/Standalone Application/WindowsService/WCF/Remoting etc.,? And on which version of .Net framework is being used to build this application?

Also, please share with us the zip of "DotNetAgent" folder (By default it is located at "C:\ProgramData\AppDynamics\").
