App Dynamics Estate Map?

Hi all

I look after non-prod environments which are split between functionality.

Each functionality has a set of app dynamics agents installed and I wondered if there was an easy way to export the flowmap, or a way to visibly show what applications connect to what so we have a high level view of what we own.

Any help would be great.

Hi Chris,

Can you select Actions -> "View old dashboard" under Application/tier dashboard and see if "export as pdf" option under Actions menu helps here as referred in below screenshot:

Regarding other query, Can you check if Cross application flow map feature helps to provide view between different business applications in controller UI where each applciation have different tiers/nodes :

We are using App Dynamics version 3.9.3.2 build 36 and the option to export to PDF doesnt show unfortunately

Is this feature is included in a later release?

Hi Chris,

I checked in 3.9.6.x version of controller UI and i could see the option, Can you please select Actions -> "View Old Dashboard" options and then again select "Actions" menu at the top left of the application dashboard and see if that export as pdf option shows up now.

If you do not see option, send the screenshot with "Actions" menu select would like to see options listed in your case, Hope that informaiton helps.

Thanks for the info

I have selected the old dashboard and I do get the option to create a PDF now which is good thanks

However, the report progress seems to be taking forever - how long would it usually take to create the PDF?

I have cancelled the last attempt at 30+ minutes!

Actually it seems to be working now, and generating in a few seconds. 

Must have been a bit of a blip at my end!
