AWS dashboarding

Has anyone found a better way to view data coming from AWS/CloudWatch?  The only avenue we have is the extensions posted in the community, which we have worked with the development team to be more judicious about the data being pulled. It would be nice to have something simlar to other products that give a full overlay of the AWS console.  I realize this will require connectors to be built ont he AWS side, but I do not see a robust offering in the extension space with the requisite dashboard capability in AppDynamics (as an enhancement or extension to the application dashboards, or otherwise).

Thoughts?

FYI - there is an AWS ELB Flow Map Beta that the product team has available.  It shows ELB traffic on the flow map.   If that's interesting to you I would reach out to your rep and see if you could check it out.

On the AWS side, I'm hoping for lambda tracing and for role/policy-based authentication.

Are you using the AWS extensions to pull in CloudWatch API metrics?  I imagine it would be quite a bit of dashboarding work to get all the metrics gathered into something useful without the future filtering capabilties of the new dashboard tools they're working on.
