mysql connection error - Splunk Community

All Apps and Add-ons

hi,

i tried to create a new connection to an mysql db.
when i test connection, system show this error message:
Database connection xxx is invalid
CLIENT_PLUGIN_AUTH is required

i tried with Power bi, no error. i can connect and download data.

Did you install the correct driver into DB Connect?

yes, i installed mysql driver version 8.
