There are a few basic ways to integrate with Splunk. Choose the ones that work best for your application and environment.

  1. Find an app in splunkbase that integrates the tool.
  2. Install a universal forwarder on the tool's server to forward logs to Splunk.
  3. Have the tool send syslog to Splunk via a syslog server.
  4. Use the DB Connect app to read the tool's database.
  5. Create a modular input that leverages the tool's API.
