Will the Nest Add-on work on OS X?

I would like to know if this add-on will work on OS X?

I once manually loaded the add-on and it killed my Splunk Environment.

Just a heads up, version 1.1.1 of the Add-on Now Supports OSX https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/3214/

I just loaded it again from a file and it looks like it loaded properly. I think the first time something may have just been a fluke!

I'm going to continue to work with it and I'll post any findings.

I apologize I just installed Splunk on an OSX machine and tested it and the python script wasn't too happy. I'll keep this in mind for a future release!

Awesome! And just so you're not confused I quickly got some great feedback that the App should be broken out into two parts so I have done that.

Add-on (for data collection) - https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/3214/
App (for visualizations) - https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/3219/

I haven't tested it out on OSX yet but let me do a little bit of testing and get back to you on that! Any chance you can get me some information on the error you received?
