Why is the Splunk App for Unix on windows server not displaying data?

Splunk App for Unix default dashboard on a windows server is not displaying any data. I can run search from within the app and get data but not from the standard/default dashboard, any idea how to resolve this?

It is likely that the indexes are not defined for the Nix App yet. Go through the configuration for the app and ensure you tell it which index(es) to find your Nix data in.

Open the standard/default dashboard and verify it is using indexes and sourcetypes that are present on your system.

Will the Splunk App for Unix and Linux work in an Enterprise 7.3.0 windows environment? I'm looking at the supported platform and the latest it has it 7.2.

Just got through re-installing the app and still getting the same result of invalid path and dashboard not displaying any data. Anyone have any ideas i could try?

That's my major problem, I cannot get into the setting tab on the dashboard. I get this when I click on settings:
ServerSideInclude Module Error!
Invalid template path. C:\APP\splunk_app_for_nix\appserver\static\settings.html
I know data is coming through because I can search with index=linux and see data but not through the dashboard.
