Uninstall an app using CLI

Hello

How does a user uninstall an app using CLI?

I entered the following in the terminal

./splunk remove app [appname] -auth <username>:<password>

I got an error -parse error near `\n'

Thanks

What are you using for [appname]?  It should be the app's subdirectory name rather than the pretty name.

If that doesn't work then there's always rm -r /opt/splunk/etc/app/appname; splunk restart
