Splunk Security Essentials looks weird / broken / has missing pictures / etc.!

There are some issues with Splunk Enterprise when you do big javascript overhauls, where only some of the javascript gets updated for the browser. That can appear as inconsistencies, pages that just don't seem to work, or missing images.

The easiest way to solve this is to tell Splunk to update everything. You can do that by going to http://yourSplunkServer:8000/en-US/_bump and then clicking the Bump Version. It happens in a fraction of a second, and doesn't effect the operations of Splunk itself.
