Splunk Add-on for Java Management Extensions on loadbalanced heavy forwarders

Hi,

In my environment we have two heavy forwarders in each network segment, working in an active/active configuration. This is both for load balancing and for redundancy. For now the Splunk Add-on for Java Management Extensions has been running on one of these heavy forwarders in each network segment. However, I would like to make the JMX data inputs redundant aswell. Is there any way to accomplish this? Would it suffice to deploy the app to the second heavy forwarders aswell, or would this result in duplicate data being indexed? Is there another way?
