Kafka Messaging Modular Input: Is it possible to output results from a Splunk search back to Kafka?

I see that there is a Splunk app for taking input from Kafka. Was wondering how it could be utilized as an output from a Splunk search back into Kafka?

It can not. It is a Modular Input for indexing data in Splunk from Kafka topics.

To do what you are proposing would require creating perhaps a Custom Search command that can output to Kafka.
