Is it possible to use the Splunk App for Windows Infrastructure without an Active Directory environment?

I would like to use the Windows for Infra app but I do not have have an AD infrastructure in the environment.

The Windows for Infrastructure App won't configure without an AD environment. Is there a way to trick it into thinking it's configured so that I use the Performance dashboards for hosts?
