Hi Team,

Is it possible to create - Business Analytics solution using Data from Microsoft SQL Server?

If yes then I would like to 1. Pre-requisites? 2. How? 3. What are steps required?, 4. How about data security as data is HBI/MBI data?

Thank You,
Dilip Dodiya

I think you need to be much more specific about what you mean by "Business Analytics solution" to get a complete answer, but yes it should be possible. You could use Splunk DB Connect to query the SQL server for data and then process it in Splunk. Address security by indexing as little HBI/MBI data as possible and restricting access to that which is indexed.
