Solved: How to install Splunk on a Cisco UCS box ?

I have to setup a Splunk Indexer on a Cisco UCS box.

Please advise how this can be achieved. Thanks

If the box is running one of the supported platforms and operating systems listed at https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/7.2.3/Installation/SystemRequirements then the installation process is the normal one detailed in the rest of that manual.

If the box does not run a supported platform or OS then Splunk cannot be installed on it.
