Error configuring PingFederate app

On the setup page, I have this error:

Encountered the following error while trying to update: In handler 'localapps': Error while posting to url=/servicesNS/nobody/pingfederate/saved/searches/idp.event.timechart.24h

What does it mean?

This is a bug in the Ping Federate app and version 6 of SPLUNK. I was told that Ping knows about this issue and are looking into a new compatible release first half of 2014 (Q1/Q2). The application does work with V5 of SPLUNK without issues.
