I simply need to timechart the numeric values from field that is being returned. For example index=proxy | timechart count by resp_time. getting something like this: I need one line that charts all the values... instead it splits them up by how many times it has seen each value.

I'm looking for this myself. Have a very old format that I need to keep the spaces for proper field extractions in props. Have you found any setting that can be changed in props and/or transforms?

DOES NOT WORK! Splunk is somehow pulling data with no fields. The hostname is the simplest thing in the world for it to pull yet it is determined to and blank field values for hosts. Customers did no simply forget to add the host value to their forwarders!

I am attempting to get my splunk alert with webhook to hit an external server (slack api). I've configured the OS to work and I can successfully curl and hit the URL. But splunk apparently isn't using the OS configuration to get outside of our network, which is blocked with the exception of using a proxy.

Some searches are going back to "ALL TIME" so I'd imagine there is an appropriate time to change the default. Depending on one's environment that could go back quite a few months. So if the default is 600 seconds I would imagine changing this to a few more minutes should be safe, right? If not, what's the repercussions?
