I removed the home.xml as I believe it to be an artifact from 5.x. I also had to update the commands.conf added local=true to each stanza. This eliminated errors I was receiving on each of my indexers. ... View more

Is there supposed to be content in home.xml? When I start up Splunk it complains about this file in the application. Also, in your compressed tar file I am getting warnings about the pax headers. ... View more
