That's very pretty unfortunate. I have been looking at the UCC and it's far from easy to work with provding cryptic errors with the globalConfig.json master file. I ran the migrate tool under UCC and it generated a 1000 line globalConfig.json file which didn't work. I do hope at a minimum they fix this import and export for the Addon Builder so it works with version 10.x to give me more time to work out the intricaies of UCC. If they don't plan on fixing it they really should remove the note that it's compatible with 10.x from the Addon Builders webpage https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/2962 I've poked around at the code under the hood trying to identify where the issue is but I can't see how it works as it doesn't appear to follow the "normal" way addons work with commands.conf and other common addon files. Personally I've always tried to avoid frameworks as you never really know what's going on under the hood. Worse when things get deprecated you are kinda out of luck. While addon builder essentially uses UCC under the hood it made things a lot easier. Thanks for posting. I'll submit an official ticket as well in the hopes they can get import/export working for a little while longer.
