Hello, I created a service tree in ITSI and I plan to rely on the default correlation search to generate alerts when a service becomes degraded. For me, this is the standard and typical way ITSI works. However, I noticed that in another company they created a service tree with KPIs, and then they created additional correlation searches based on those same KPIs. I don’t really see the benefit of doing this, since the default correlation search already seems sufficient. My question is: what do you consider to be the best practice when using correlation searches in ITSI? Is it necessary or recommended to create custom correlation searches? Regards ... View more
