It turns out the severity level on the device was not high enough to send any logs, once fixed I could see data in the cisco security app. I guess the above error can be ignored!

Hi Guys,
I'm trying to get the Cisco Security Suite App installed (https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/525/) after adding on:
https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/1620/
It seems to install up until the point of getting to the setup screen for the dashboard and when I go into the app i don't see any data coming in. Please see attached picture

Hi All,
I'm trying to get the F5 Analytics App running on our Splunk Enterprise server:
https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/3161/
I've got two way communication going between the F5 load balancer and the Splunk server, however there is nothing visible in the Splunk F5 Analytics App. There doesn't seem to be any data populating from the load balancers. I can see using Wireshark on the Splunk server that they are communicating on the correct addresses/ports, but the Splunk server returns this error:
Where can I edit settings on the server to correct this error?
Any help appreciated!

Hi Guys,
I have a similar problem - I'm using a HTTP event collector and installed an iApp for F5 load balancers.
I can see the F5 sending keys as follows from a packet capture:
Member Key: time
Member Key: host
Member Key: source
Member Key: sourcetype
Member Key: event
I can see the Splunk Server responding like this:
Member Key: text
String Value: Invalid authorization
Key: text
Member Key: code
Number Value: 3
Key: code
Where in Splunk do I configure the above Member Key which is causing an invalid authorization?

Hi there,
I've just recently installed the 'Cisco Networks' app https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/1352/
However in the main dashboard or 'cisco networks overview' for product there is only an option for ios, wlc, ap. In the switching tab/dashboard there doesn't seem to be anything displayed for the nexus switches.
The only way I can see data from the nexus switch is in 'search' (attached) via an IP address
In the data input section in settings, I've put in the UDP port it would be received on, and the source type as 'cisco_syslog' as there didn't seem to be an option for nx-os or nexus.
Have I missed out a setting/configuration?
