Many enterprise applications rely on Windows-based Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies such as Kerberos, NTLM, and Integrated Windows Authentication. For these applications, Windows Synthetic PSA agents can accurately replicate real user authentication journeys and validate business-critical login experiences. While containerized PSA deployments offer scalability and modern infrastructure benefits, they may not fully support all enterprise SSO scenarios. As a result, organizations can lose visibility into authentication failures, identity provider issues, and access problems affecting end users. Continued Windows PSA support would help enterprises maintain reliable monitoring of SSO-protected applications, ensure better user experience validation, and provide a smoother transition path as organizations modernize their monitoring platforms. Monitoring application availability is important, but monitoring whether users can successfully authenticate is equally critical.
