Hi everyone, Has anyone faced the following problem when importing a health rule in JSON format? I'm using the following curl command: curl -sL -w "%{http_code}" -X POST --user "${USER}:${PASS}" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" -F file=@${FILE}.json \ https://$HOST/controller/alerting/rest/v1/applications/$APP_ID/health-rules which in every JSON file I tried, returns me this error: { "statusCode" : 400, "message" : "Unexpected character (- (code 45)) in numeric value: expected digit (0-9) to follow minus sign, for valid numeric value " } ... even if I'm using the same JSON as in the official documentation: https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO45/Health+Rule+API The JSON files I've tried do not contain any hyphen characters, so apparently the request payload is not related to the error cause. Good afternoon team, This is a REST API service where we have a lot of changes in the API, new URIs come up and old ones are deleted all the time. Therefore I have created some dynamic Transaction Detection rules, so we don't need to be updating them every time. FYI, I'm using the following custom expression: ${getRequestURI().split(\/).[2]}-${getRequestURI().split(\/).[3]} Now the problem is that we hit the max BTs per node limit, and some traffic go to the All Other Traffic, and we want some important BTs to stay always on top. My three question are: 1) If I register these key BTs from the All Other Traffic, will this registration assure that these BTs will always be in the registered ones, no matter how many times I reset the agent? 2) What if I register over 50 new BTs? Will the oldest ones be unregistered, following a FIFO method? 3) What is the Appdynamics collector's criteria to select which transactions will go to the Business Transactions list, and which ones will go to the All Other Traffic? Hi team, We have a situation where every now an then the CPU is increased considerably, and never recovers, until the consumption gets to 100%. To give you an example, if the first day of month the CPU is OK, one week later all in a sudden the CPU gets a peak and increases to 40%, and stays like that for some days. Then two weeks later the CPU suffers another peak and increases from 40% to 75%... and so on until by the end of the month the CPU gets to 100% and then we are forced to reboot. I have noticed that the problematic process is the WAS portal where the web application is hosted, and we have an App agent enabled there. In order to find the root cause, I have created a bunch of Business Transactions, so I could see which ones are CPU expensive. Unfortunately this didnt help, and couldn't get any connection between these CPU expensive BTs, and the CPU peaks. Do you know any more effective method to troubleshoot these CPU issues?
