Hi, How to plot cluster agent metrics in dashboard because there is no option to plot the metrics in any of the widgets? In any widget if I select the server under which cluster agent is shown it will provide the metrics of server visibility instead of cluster agent. Regards, Gopikrishnan

Hi Nawaz, I had checked the link shared by you and it mentions how to ignore a whole message from being detected. But my case is somewhat like below : Error response received : [{"metadata":{"Code":["ERROR_50404"],"Message":["HOLDN ERRORS ERROR INSUFFICIENT FUNDS FOR THIS TRANSACTION"],"StackStrace":" at HoldNAPI.Controllers.v1.HoldFundController.d__2.MoveNext()"},"data":{"mob":"XXXXXXX"}}] I want to just captured the Code highlighted in Red and ignore the remaining. Is there a way to capture some part of the logged messages and ignore the rest? I have Errors which are logged via logger and appdynamics is capturing that but including some other information which is not required.

So when the agent falls to 0 it will send an email alert saying the agent is down and when the agent is up and running fine will this template send an email that the agent is working fine?

Hi,
There is a unique requirement for URL monitoring which is to monitor if a particular URL is down or not for every 5 secs and report immediately if it is down. Now the URL monitoring extension I am using is scheduled to run every 5 secs but the machine agent reports data every minute to the controller. Is there any way to change this or any workaround possible for this?

Hi,
I have created a data collector for a particular response to be captured. I want only a certain part of it to be captured and am using the split function. So the response is below
Success { "data": { "customerId": "1128477", "contactInformation": { "email": "test_1@test.com", "mobileCountryCode": "0091", "mobileNumber": "1234567890"
I want to capture the customerId and the data collector I am using is
getData().toString().split("customerId":).[1].split(,).[0]
and this gives me output
[CANNOT EVALUATE: No target specified]
Am I missing something or doing something wrong? The initial part getData().toString() gives me all the response details but when I try to split it to capture customerId then it gives me the above error. Please help

Hi Philip, Got your point and for kubernetes deployed on AWS instances its better to have cluster agent for monitoring the infra. One more case what I have is there are some java applications running on AWS VMs in that case is it better to have machine agent deployed on AWS or is it better to use AWS extension for monitoring? Hi,
I have a Kubernetes cluster deployed in AWS and my application is running in that. Now I am able to monitor my application via AppDynamics java agent. I want to monitor the infrastructure now and I have used the autoscaling feature as well.
So what is the best possible way to monitor the infra of my environment with a machine agent? Or is there any other way to do the same?
