I am about to go through the same thing (version 6.3.13 on 2008 nonR2) and migrating to cloud. I am remembering all the fun with "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.2\Server".
