We are investigating using Splunk to do log analysis and monitoring for the AWS (China) environment, but we found that Splunk 8.0+ combined with Splunk Add-on for AWS 5.0+ cannot connect to AWS (China) STS endpoints. The reason is that the STS terminal node address on the AWS (China) official website is incorrect (AWS officials also confirmed this error and plan to modify it). To The endpoint addresses given by AWS (China) are https://sts.cn-north-1.amazonaws.com and https://sts.cn-northwest-1.amazonaws.com. This is wrong, the correct addresses are https://sts.cn-north-1.amazonaws.com.cn and https://sts.cn-northwest-1.amazonaws.com.cn AWS (China) is actively repairing this issue, and we hope that Splunk and Splunk Add-on for AWS will also repair this node issue as soon as possible.
