Want to hide time picker options like real-time, presets for specific some roles, and admin should see all of them. I am able to hide for all users only with css, but I need to hide for specific user roles. Thanks in advance.

you mean, by giving earliest and latest in the query for both the panels? basically, the count is updated on drilldown from first panel, because the index gets refreshed.

Hi all, I have custom summary index, which is having the required fields from many indexes in order to make a dashboard. The problem is when P2 in first panel shows a count of 36, we have a drilldown to these numbers so that, we can check more details to it, at that time, count mismatches, because, the custom summary index gets refreshed in 2mins, and dashboard takes time to load. Please let me know, how to fix this so that, in drilldown panel upon load, count should match the first panel.

I am also facing the same, my other apps are opening in Program Files folder except splunk which is a trial version, I feel it must be splunk issue.

Hi @inventsekar , No, its not a new install, have been upgraded to 8.1 and having LDAP authentication. However, checked the below: tools.sessions.timeout = 60 ui_inactivity_timeout = 60 and sessionTimeout=1h in /system/default/web.conf and /system/default/server.conf In system/local , these parameters are not mentioned. Hi @inventsekar , Thank you for your reply, I have checked with the query that you have provided and found only login events and session timeout happening. It is happening to user and they are not exaggerating this as I can see multiple times they have been forcefully logged out in middle of their activity. Regards, Jugabanhi

Hi All, Splunk users are repeatedly shown as "Your session expired. Log in to return to the system", while they are actively using splunk. Suggested them to clear cache, but is of no use. This is really frustrating for them as a user point of view. I have 60min specified already in server.conf and web.conf Could you please help me to get into the solution. Regards, Jugabanhi

Hi @rewritex , Could you please give a snippet of the same. On click of search icon of panels in my dashboard, the queries are running to verbose mode only, want to change it to fast mode. I am using Base search in my dashboard. Since export option is not available, trying out this scenerio, but I have a good amount of data, as such running in verbose mode is something trying to avoid. @all, please suggest some.
