Hi, I read this article https://community.splunk.com/t5/Developing-for-Splunk-Enterprise/Splunk-DB-Connect-java-home-stanza-error/m-p/364350 and we're having the same issue. Hence I'm looking to upgrade our db connect to version 3.1.4 (3.1.3 is no longer available in Splunkbase) I tried checking for documentations but mostly are for migration from version 2.0 to version 3. Also, I do not see the "update" option on our Splunk console and I'm keen to update it from the Linux back end. I read this article and it's pretty much telling me to just install the newer version, https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/DBX/3.0.0/DeployDBX/Checklist. But how about the back ups and all? If I download and install 3.1.4, will it just overwrite my existing db_connect version 3.1.1 and migrate its configurations? Could you please assist on the step by step process?
