Yes, it seems that the 6.4.2 update is not compatible with the free version. I backed up and uninstalled then reinstalled 6.4.1 and it worked fine. ... View more

HELP... I am using the free version so there is no support. I am getting this error and have not disabled the httpinput. It happened after upgrading to 6.4.2. DB Connect 2 with Splunk Free

Is there any way to have the splunk db connect v2 work with the free version of splunk? we do not index more than 500mb at this time but need to be able to get the data from splunk into a database. I am not experienced enough to use python or the api. We have 100s of IoT sensors writing data to a tcp port in splunk and are looking for an easy way to get the data out and into a database automatically.
