The Splunk Add-on for F5 BIG-IP documentation (http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/AddOns/latest/F5BIGIP/Hardwareandsoftwarerequirements) specifically references installation in Splunk Light without going into any detail on how to install it. It seems that Splunk Light doesn't support any add-ons that aren't available in the Data->Add-ons menu, but as the docs specifically reference Light as an option, it's not completely clear.
