With version change, which TA is supposed to be used with the application in Splunk 6? https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/1564/ or https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/1633/ Could you please add a proper link to the documentation? Thanks

Unfortunately, this advice it doesn't work in clustered environment. I think this is because application creates lookup table in "system/lookups/monitored_indexes.csv", but cluster expects it to be somewhere under slave-apps/

It's a bug in splunk: http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/latest/ReleaseNotes/Knownissues Clustering error "unexpected duplicate app" for apps in both $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps and $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/slave-apps. When a lookup or a configuration file is created it goes to the /etc/apps, while the same file may exists in the /etc/slave-apps, causing this warning. (SPL-70433)

Would it be possible to list what changes need to be made to get data out of syslog instead of NFS share?
