There is a lookup in the SA-Utils app called "cron_schedule_map.csv" and I was wondering if any one out there knows how it is leveraged in ES. Attached is what the first few rows look like. Thanks, JD

I ended up editing the inputs.conf [sfdc_event_log://prod_event_log] account = event_log endpoint = xxxxx.my.salesforce.com sourcetype = sfdc:logfile index = dev_idx interval = 86400

Can't hurt to ask your sales rep or SE if you have one. They might be able to hook you up with Extreme Search as a standalone app.

I know this is a bit old but you can monitor the iDRAC with the IPMI protocol. SNMP is great and all but finding all the OIDs is painful and you need to configure Splunk to collect SNMP. Using IPMI is a pretty simple scripted input. Some of the metrics you can pull with IPMI is Ambient Temp, CPU temp, fan speed, etc. Here is a video on how to set up and poll the iDRAC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaDMqczzwVs I hope this... Having this issue as well. Our solution was two pronged. First we adjusted the MWG log format XML. Then we got rid of all the useless EVALs that the TA was running. Our MWG now sends the events with the fields already CIM'd. So now instead of having to change "dhost" to "dest_host" at search time, the gateway sends us "dest_host" It isn't perfect and I am sure we can do a lot more tweaking but just doing that made a huge difference.
