This app is used to upgrade Linux Heavy Forwarder using the Shell script manually or it can be deployed through the Deployment server to automate remote upgrade. Also, the installation logs are monitored & indexed in Splunk. In a distributed environment, this app can be used to upgrade any Splunk Enterprise components (i.e. Indexer/Search head/License Master, etc)
