This app provides a mechanism to send custom webhooks from Splunk using a custom Python script, enabling full configuration of parameters that Splunk’s default webhook capability is limited in—especially custom HTTP headers (e.g., Authorization: Bearer ..., API keys). The goal of the app is to integrate Splunk with external systems (SIEM/SOAR, ticketing, incident management, chat ops, internal APIs) in scenarios that require authentication headers that Splunk’s built-in webhook cannot support.
