Splunk Beginner Tests and Exercises

I have started on Splunk and I gone through rigorous training on tutorials and videos.

My question is: is there anywhere I can get Splunk challenge labs or exercises whilst working on some provided sample data.

I really what to put my knowledge and skills to the test.

there are some certification paths, but you surely know them (see at https://www.splunk.com/en_us/training.html ).
As surely know, at the same address there are also some free courses.

At least, did you explored the partners portal?
you can find hundreds of training corses, maybe not so recent, but anyway useful.

Yes - I do know of the SPlunk certs and free training courses. Thats one of the first courses I went through.

I found very interesting the Sales Engineer II courses where is trained very well the logs ingestion, at the same point you could also take SE I, II and III certifications.

In addition is useful the Search Tutorial https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/latest/SearchTutorial/WelcometotheSearchTutorial

Then if your company would pay, there are the others certification paths: I'm an Architect and I'm trying to reach the Consultant Certification.
It's a qualifying aspect for companies to have certified people!
For partners there's a discount of 50%.

Given how vast the knowledge-base of Splunk is, I'm not sure what specific challenge are you looking for.

But I'd suggest it would be better if you'll take up Certifications since there will be timed-labs and best practices.

With this, you'll go through countless Modules which would build up your Splunk foundational skills.
