Good Day Team, Are they any splunk walkthrough exercises with some data I can bend and manipulate as I learn these concepts and commands? I am a beginner so just going through the basics and it would be good to test out commands as I read. thanks

Hello, Thank you for the prompt response: Firstly, I tried out this link and installed it as an app but when I run a search string (index=main) I get nothing. I was following the steps in the book Splunk 7 Essentials religiously but to no avail. I just want a step by step procedure on installing on a Windows 10 PC.

Good Day Team, Did anyone manage to get splunk eventgen working on windows 10? I have been struggling to get it working on my windows 10 PC using splunk v7.3.2. I want to GIT but didnt get much that I understood could help. I just wanted to follow through on some practical exercises I was setting up. Regards,

Good Day Team, I started reading on Splunk today and I have began my exercises. I am stuck on how to generate charts (i.e bar chart, pie chart) over a particular period of time say 30days. e.g Count bgp errors by date by Autonomous system(AS) over the last week? Any reference info would greatly appreciate.

Good Day Team, I am new to Splunk and I have done the fundamental training on Splunk. Just to sharpen my knowledge, I have been trying to monitor or log CDRs from my Freepbx Asterisk 13 server to Splunk. I hvae spent much time on google but could not find something definitive. I have managed to add a universal forwarder to my FreePbx server but I can not see any events in Splunk when I make a call. May you kindly assist.
