Note: if you don't have all the prerequisites completed then you'll get a 404 error even with the right link.  (Yes, I agree that's a bad UX).

The Splunk edcation portal's are not working at this moment, I'm getting 401's and 404's and a picture of a pony when I try access the section for Core Consultant Labs.

I have emailed Splunk certification, but they keep dodging the question and just say that I can earn the Core Consultant certification by completing the requirements on the track.

Hence this post to get advise on how people have completed the prerequisite "Core Consultant Labs" in the past.

Core Consultant Labs is one of the prerequisite.

If you read that document, top down, from left to right:

Splunk Core Certified Power User
Splunk Core Certified Advanced Power User
Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin
Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect

Are Pre Req for:

Core Consultant Labs
Services: Core Implementation

All of the above being Pre Req for the Core Consultant Exam.

I have already completed Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect back in 2020. So, the next one will be Core Consultant Labs. 

Hope that clarifies.
