The day before Splunk GovSummit officially kicks off, the real action begins. April 7 is your opportunity to move from theory to practice – working inside a modern SOC.
Enhancing SOC Operations with Attack Simulations is an instructor-led course where you’ll take on the role of a SOC analyst, detection engineer, or automation engineer and work through realistic attack scenarios. Leveraging Splunk SOAR or Adaptive Response in Enterprise Security, you’ll test detections, refine remediation strategies, and collaborate across SOC roles to strengthen investigative and incident response skills. It’s immersive, hands-on, and designed for beginner to intermediate practitioners ready to elevate their game.
Watch Alex, from Splunk Education, describe what you'll learn in class from our YouTube Shorts channel.
This full-day course (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) is priced at $500 or 50 Training Units and requires GovSummit registration to participate. Payment can be made via credit card or Training Units, with TU submissions reviewed by the Splunk Education team prior to confirmation. Previous experience with Splunk Enterprise Security or Splunk SOAR is recommended to maximize the experience.
If Splunk GovSummit is about enterprise strategy, Splunk University is about security execution. Don’t just attend GovSummit — come with valuable knowledge!
