Splunk Search

Using Lookuptables

Hello,

I've got a "Report A" that creates a lookuptable. Is it possible to tell "Report B" (this Report is using the lookuptable) to run "Report A" in the backround (to get an updated version of the lookuptable) before calculating the results?

Best, Heinz

Hi HeinzWaescher,

A quick workaround could be to create a search macro out of 'Report A' and call this macro at the beginning of 'Report B'.

Hope this helps to get you started ...

cheers, MuS
