Why is Splunk On Splunk showing CPU usage at between 200% and 1100%? This makes me wonder if all the other monitoring is off.

Yeah, 1100% with 12 cores makes sense.

It appears that we have 12 cores on 2 sockets on this system. I didn't know that until just now. That explains it, thanks.
