Searching Saved Results

If you select "Action->Save results", is it possible to make reference to the results in a subsequent search? While saved results are only temporary, they could suffice for a short-term workspace. The idea here is to use "Save results" like a temporary table in a database, instead of using something like 'collect'.

You should be aware that if you don't reference specific field names in the original search, they might be optimized out of the saved results, so you should anticipate how the results will be used when constructing the initial query. (Using a fields command is a simple way to specify what fields you want kept.)
