RSS conditional get

I was wondering how to set up Splunk's RSS to support conditional gets (so that my reader when setup correctly wouldn't retrieve already read entries).

Hi,

I think the entries in RSS feed do exists till the time the search is active and RSS entries gets expired once the search gets expired.
