Splunk Search

Matching events icon

Hey,

I have a question about the following icon shown in the image below:

alt text

This icon is usually shown after you execute a search in Splunk.

Is it possible to hide/remove this matching events icon so that it is not displayed when a search is run?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You can hide it via CSS, by adding something like this to appserver/static/application.css:

.JobStatus div .events {
    display: none;
}

Note that if you modify application.css in the search app, you will need to re-create your changes each time you upgrade Splunk.

Alternately, you can edit the view and remove the JobStatus module, but that will remove the whole status bar.
