Is it possible to use typeahead with HiddenSearch/ExtendedFieldSearch?

build an application limiting end-user searches to a single field (by using HiddenSearch/ExtendedFieldSearch modules), but still have typeahead functionality as if using SearchBar module.

No, im afraid this cant be done. The typeahead functionality is only implemented by the SearchBar module, and the SearchBar gives the user full control over the entire base search string...
