How to troubleshoot Server Error when searching for "java.lang."

Hello,
using Splunk version 8.1.3.
Would you know why there’s a Server Error when we input the below search expression in Splunk? Is it some bug I am running into?

Per my research, its only happening if java.lang. is present in the search string. It can run any variation of the string with wildcards but it only throws an error when java.lang. is present.

It won't let me post the word RunTime after java.lang for some reason, even in this web forum.

Searched up the internal logs but did not find anything.

@jmrtm44 - I'm giving you a bunch of troubleshooting steps because the error message here is very generic.

  • Check from a different browser.
  • Are other users using Splunk having the same issue?
  • Open the browser's console window to see if you see a more specific error message there?
  • Check splunkd.log to see if you find anything that is related to this?

I hope this helps!!!
