How to disable real-time searches that run when logging in to Splunk: '| metadata type=sourcetypes | search totalCount > 0'

I want to disable these searches that run automatically when a user is in the search view or launcher view.

It is currently not possible to disable them because the searches are tied into javaScript. Community is waiting on Splunk to provide a solution:
