How do you generate CSV File on Schedule basis automatically as an attachment to Email.

Hello,

How do we schedule a CSV file as an attachment to the Email. What is the script that needs to be added in the source code in Splunk for a dashboard. I wanted to schedule the CSV file on weekly/monthly basis.

Hi @Dheeru 

I think the best way is set an alert.

define your alert search and when you select your alert action > send mail and define attach  csv.

anyway if you wuold send mail directly on your search bar you need this comand

sendmail
