How do I downgrade from Splunk Light to Splunk Light Free?

In my test setup, I can see that I have a VALID status of the Splunk Light Free, and an EXPIRED status on the Splunk Light Term, but the searches no longer work. How would I revert back to the Light Free edition?

This is just a test environment so I do not want to renew this license.

Hi netmack9,

Try seeing our documentation at http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/SplunkLight/6.4.0/Installation/Aboutlicensing and the "Revert to the Splunk Light Free license" section towards the bottom of the page. Also read "About license types" on this page to confirm your indexing volume capacity is appropriate for the license you are using.
