Congrats on this great major release !

Are there any plans to introduce horizon charts(similar to sparklines but not quite the same) (also here) visualization?

There are some cases where the number of series is just to big to fit in a multiline chart without turning it into a train wreck (and splitting them into several charts forces the Dashboard to become bigger and bigger).

It would be quite a welcome addition.

We use Horizon charts (aka Cubism) in the new Unix app's alerts view. If you click on a fired alert in the view's results table, you can see CPU rendered as a horizon chart.

One of the problems we have found with horizon charts is that people don't get them until they read about them or someone explains how they work.

This is a good case for our Custom Table Cell Renderers. If you look at Splunk 6.0 Dashboard Examples app there is an example on using the cell renderers.
