Column Width

Is there a way to set the column width, via the Query?
I have a variable called $list$ and it has like 100 items separated by space. I want to make sure, I either make the column width very small like 5 chars wide, so that the list gets wrapped down..

I have gone through the list, and I get a general impression that we can tweak the css , conf etc in the server to get the table look like how we want.. Unfortunately I don't have access to the servers.

I would have liked to have some sort of table formatting attributes to the table. something like table colwidth=5 or some such thing. I hope Spunk extends the table functionality in the future versions…

ANy work arounds?

As a very basic, but query-only workaround you could expand your results by that list, yielding one result for every item - giving you one table row per item, neatly wrapped all the way to the bottom.

Take a look at this example:

Imagine you'd like to wrap f on spaces. Append this to expand f:

 | makemv delim=" " f | mvexpand f
